b'At WCF we introduced the Guidelines and the Delivery Point Risk Report to our drivers towards the end of 2019, after first trialling the system with a few drivers across the business. Although weve always had our own internal systems in place for controlling the personal and environmental risks associated with a delivery, we felt that having a consistent delivery standard used across all UKIFDA Members Mike Parker would be the right approach for us, and the downstream business WCF as a whole. In both the Guidelines for Safer Deliveries & the Delivery Point Risk Report, the guidance is comprehensive without being too complicated. Both documents provide a good point of reference for the driver both in a training, and real time scenario.Im glad to say that we aregetting some great buy-in to the system fromthe drivers and my view is that we are making reallygood progress inaddressing deliveryrisks before they become accidents.'
